Research Nurse

Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Research Clinic Nurse to serve as the initial point of contact for clinical trial participants. In this key role, you will screen, enroll, and assess participants to ensure they meet the study protocol and maintain the highest standards of patient confidentiality, care, and research quality.

Key Responsibilities
As a Research Clinic Nurse, you will:

  • Screen and enroll participants while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Complete informed consent processes, ensuring full participant understanding.
  • Gather and document key participant information, including demographics, medical history, and medication use.
  • Conduct health assessments, including vital signs and ECGs, and document findings.
  • Monitor participant well-being during and after treatments.
  • Provide participant education and ensure proper follow-up care.
  • Proactively communicate with the Clinic Manager and address issues as they arise.
  • Maintain professionalism in all forms of clinic communication.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Education: Graduate from an accredited nursing program (Associate or Bachelor’s degree).
  • Experience:
    • 1+ years of clinical research experience is required.
    • 1+ years in a healthcare or clinical setting.
  • Licenses:
    • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Kansas required.
    • Registered Nurse (RN) preferred.
    • ACRP certification is a plus.
    • BLS certification (within 30 days of hire) and ACLS certification (within 1 year of hire).
  • Skills:
    • Strong written and verbal communication.
    • Excellent time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
    • Knowledge of medical terminology and medications.
    • Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
    • Ability to work independently and in a team.
